Tome
An AI storytelling tool that once turned prompts into narrative presentations.
About
Tome was an AI presentation and storytelling tool that turned a prompt into a narrative deck with text, images and dynamic layouts, and it was once popular for fast, visually striking presentations. It is included here as a historical entry: its consumer presentation product was discontinued on 30 April 2025, and the team moved on to other software, so it should not be treated as an available deck maker.
Key features
- Prompt-to-presentation generation (historical)
- Narrative layouts with text and images (historical)
- Templates and AI credits on former plans (historical)
- Sharing and export options on former plans (historical)
Pricing
Pricing is not listed here, because it could not be verified from an official source at the time of writing.
Tome's presentation shutdown in April 2025 was reported by multiple 2026 sources. Historical prices (for example Pro at about $16/month billed annually) are not current offers. A different product using the Tome name is not the original Tome presentation tool.
Best for
Historical reference only; anyone needing a new deck today should use an active presentation tool such as Gamma or Beautiful.ai.
Limitations to know
Tome's presentation product is discontinued, so no new decks, signups or support for that product can be verified. Any site claiming to restore old Tome credits should be verified independently before entering payment details or reusing a password.
What users think
Public sentiment could not be verified from accessible sources at the time of writing, so no praise or complaint themes are listed here rather than invented ones.
