Mood Tracker: One Score, One Small Next Step

Tracking a mood takes ten seconds and pays off over weeks, when patterns start to show. A single number plus a note is enough to spot them.

What is the Mood Tracker?

Pick a mood, rate your energy from 1 to 10, and optionally add a note, and the tool combines mood and energy into one wellbeing score with a plain reading and a small next step. Scores are a snapshot, not a diagnosis: they help you notice patterns over days, such as low patches after poor sleep or strong days after a walk.

How to use it

  1. Pick today's mood.
  2. Rate your energy from 1 to 10.
  3. Add an optional note and click Log My Mood.

Worked example

A good mood with energy 6 gives a wellbeing score of 6.5 out of 10, read as middle ground.

What wellbeing score does a good mood with energy 6 give?

Mood good counts as 7 and energy 6 averages with it to 6.5 out of 10, which reads as middle ground.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a medical diagnosis?

No. It is a simple self-check for noticing patterns, not a diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice.

Why combine mood and energy?

Mood alone misses tired days, and energy alone misses low moods; averaging both gives a fairer snapshot.
