About this tool

Frequently asked questions
Are uppercase and lowercase letters counted together?
Yes. Everything is lowercased first, so H and h count as the same letter.
Does it count spaces or punctuation?
No. Only the letters A to Z are counted; spaces, digits and punctuation are left out.
