About this tool
Choose a difficulty and a number of simulation steps. The tool steps a ball across a brick wall in text form, bouncing off walls, the paddle, and bricks. In the browser, a live canvas game appears below the result, with the paddle following your mouse or arrow keys.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when the ball misses the paddle?
The ball resets to the middle of the screen so you can serve again.
Does the text simulation play the game for me?
No. The text steps show the state machine; the live game is the canvas version in the browser.
