UV Index Guide: What Protection Does This UV Level Need?
The UV index turns invisible ultraviolet strength into a number you can act on. This guide pairs each level with protection advice.
What is the UV Index Guide?
The UV index summarises how strong the sun's ultraviolet light is, and higher values call for stronger protection. Enter a UV index and this guide gives the category and plain protection advice. This is general guidance, not a forecast: check a local forecast for today's actual UV index.
