Online Alarm Clock: Set It and Keep the Page Open
A browser alarm is a page that watches the clock for you. Set the time, leave the page open, and it will announce the moment when it arrives.
What is the Online Alarm Clock?
Enter an alarm time and a label, and the tool tells you how long until the alarm. In the browser, a live check runs while the page stays open and shows a message when the time arrives. It does not ring if you close the page, and it does not send notifications outside the browser.
How to use it
- Enter the alarm time as HH:MM.
- Give the alarm a label.
- Click Set Alarm; in the browser, keep the page open until it rings.
Worked example
An alarm set for 07:00 shows the hours and minutes remaining until 07:00, rolling to the next day if 07:00 has already passed today.
Will the alarm ring if I close the page?
No. The live check runs only while the page stays open, and it does not send notifications outside the browser.
Frequently asked questions
Can I set an alarm for later today?
Yes. If the time has already passed today, the alarm rolls to the same time tomorrow.
Does it play a sound?
The page shows a clear alarm message when the time arrives. For a guaranteed wake-up, use your phone's alarm as well.
