Meeting Time Planner: One Meeting, Two Clocks
Time-zone maths is just addition and subtraction, but it is easy to get backwards. This planner does the arithmetic and shows both cities side by side.
What is the Meeting Time Planner?
Enter a meeting time in your home city and pick a second city, and the tool converts the time using standard offsets. Offsets are standard-time values, so around daylight-saving changes the converted time may be an hour out — confirm critical meetings with a live world clock.
How to use it
- Enter the meeting time in your city.
- Choose your city and the other city.
- Click Convert Meeting Time for the other city's time.
Worked example
A meeting at 14:00 in London converts to 09:00 in New York on standard offsets (London UTC+0, New York UTC-5).
Why might the converted time be an hour out?
Because the planner uses standard offsets, while real cities move their clocks for daylight saving during part of the year.
Frequently asked questions
Should I trust this for a critical meeting?
Confirm with a live world clock first. This planner is a quick check, not a calendar.
What if the converted time crosses midnight?
The planner wraps past midnight correctly, so a late evening meeting can become an early morning one elsewhere.
