Concert Budget Calculator: Will Your Gig Make Money?

Ticket sales feel good until you compare them with the costs. This calculator puts both sides on one page.

What is the Concert Budget Calculator?

A gig budget has two sides: what it costs to put on and what tickets bring back. Enter venue and artist costs, ticket numbers, and price, and this tool shows total cost, expected revenue, and profit or loss, plus the break-even ticket count.

How to use it

  1. Enter your values in the fields provided.
  2. Click Balance My Concert Budget.
  3. Read the result and adjust an input if you want a different outcome.

Worked example

Costs of 1500 with 150 tickets at 15 give revenue 2250, profit 750, and a break-even of 100 tickets.

What profit do 150 tickets at 15 make against 1500 in costs?

Revenue is 2,250 against costs of 1,500, leaving a profit of 750, with break-even at 100 tickets.
